Joe Narciso Maldonado

Joe Narciso Maldonado, age 86, born in Manzano, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 30, 2024. Mr. Maldonado is survived by his children, Rochelle Abeyta, Ruben Maldonado and wife, Debbie, Roberta Maldonado and boyfriend Rolando Cantu, Joan Maldonado, Antonio Maldonado and fiancée, Monica Bencomo, Virginia Maldonado, and Stephanie Lucero and husband, Gerald; fur-baby, Noel; nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosella and son, Patrick.

Joe was a loving husband and a wonderful Father of 8 children and one Fur Baby Noel. Noel was his pride and joy and his best friend. He worked hard all his life to provide a good life for his family. He was not only a father to his children but also was a father figure to his grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He was a true leader and was there at a drop of a dime for anyone. He worked many years in the masonry field and if you drove all around New Mexico you would see all his hard work. He enjoyed being outside and working on anything he could find to do. He also loved going to the casino, scratching scratchers, and putting puzzles together.  He is now in the hands of our savior Jesus Christ and is reunited with the love of his Life Rosella. The family would like to thank the Presbyterian Hospice team. With special thanks to Genevieve Sanchez for providing such wonderful care for their dad and the amazing support she gave the family.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at  6:00pm in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located 1000 Old Coors Drive SW. A Final Visitation will take place Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 7:45am with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15am with a Eulogy at 8:45am and a Mass to follow at 9:00am all to be held at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 562 Atrisco Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. A Burial will follow service to Mount Calvary Cemetery at 10:15am.
