Joe "Sam" Tatro

Joe “Sam” Tatro, lifelong resident of Yerba Rd, passed away suddenly on July 23, 2024. Joe was a pillar of the HVAC community for over 40 years. Joe lived a humble life; he spent his time enjoying exclusively home cooked meals, watching NASCAR, drinking beers and smoking cigarettes. He was a stern man who worked hard for his family always, and his absence will be felt immensely. He didn’t feel the need to see the world, he has the world within his home. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Tatro and Janie McCall. Also, by two brothers, Troy McCall and Brad McCall. As well as by a very special uncle, Harry Garcia. Joe is survived by his beautiful wife of 37 years, Geri; by his daughter Linda Nicole, his son, Jay and wife Honda; two granddaughters who loved to sneak candy with their Papa, Nena and Peanut. As well as his brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Diannia McCall. Rosary will be held at Church of the Ascension Parish on Thursday August 1, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Funeral mass to follow on Friday August 2, 2024 at 10:00 am. Interment at Pajarito Cemetery and reception at Parish Hall to follow burial.
