   VIGIL SR., JOE E., born in Dawson, NM, and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home with his family at his side.  Mr. Vigil is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Virginia; children, Lillian Sena, Johnny A. Vigil and wife, Helen, Annie Vigil -Baca and husband, Patricio; daughter in law, Corrine Vigil; eight grandchildren;  twenty-one great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and three on the way.  Mr. Vigil was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather.  Mr. Vigil was preceded in death by his son, Joe E. Vigil Jr.; and son in law, John Sena. He was kind and giving and would do anything for family or friend.  Mr. Vigil was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during W.W.II, and a member of the American Legion Post 72. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8321 Camino San Martin SW, Monsignor Richard Olona, presider. Committal Service to follow Mass at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
