John Julian Ramirez

John Julian Ramirez, age 73, born in Carlsbad, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on April 28, 2023. John is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Wilma Sanchez Ramirez; children, Somer Lee Martinez, Jodie Theresa Ramirez, and Angel Aguilera; grandchildren, Ethan, Alani, Miliana, Orlando, Athena; brothers, Tony Ramirez, and Sebastian Ramirez; cousins, Kathy, and Jimmy Jr.; many nieces, nephews, y primos de El Chuco. Mr. Ramirez served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 8:00a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW  with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection Service will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. with Father Patrick presiding. Interment will follow the services at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery where Mr. Ramirez will be laid to rest with Army honors. Pallbearers will be Angel Aguilera, Jimmy Ramirez, Ethan Martinez, Orlando Aguilera, George Sanchez Jr, and James Patterson.
