John George Travers, age 74, born in Belleville, New Jersey and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully after an ardent battle with cancer, on October 17, 2022. Mr. Travers is survived by his wife of four years, Huong Travers; daughter, Jacqueline My Yen Travers; stepsons, Matthew Heitner and Jesse Heitner; sister, Madeline Rawley. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 6:30pm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 10,2022 at 11:00am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Donations in lieu of flowers to New Mexico Commission for the blind, Notre Dame Club of New Mexico, or NAACP of Albuquerque.
