Jose Barrera, age 78, born in Ignacio Zaragoza, Chihuahua, Mexico and resident of Albuquerque passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019. Mr. Barrera is survived by his beloved wife, Elisa Barrera; children, Lourdes Barrera Montes and husband, Fernando Garzon Rodriguez, Noe Barrera Montes and husband, Ignacia Rias Trevizo, Maria Fidela Barrera Montes and husband, Valentin Acosta Bustillos; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mr. Barrera was preceded in death by his daughter, Alma Delia Barrera Montes.
A visitation will be Monday, April 22, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Prayer service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
