Pastor Jose Manuel Rodriguez, age 58, born in Asientos, Aguascalientes, Mexico on August 26, 1962, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on December 12, 2020 of complications due to COVID-19. Pastor Rodriguez is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joanne Rodriguez, his two daughters and their husbands, Jessica and Moises Loya and Nancy and David Daniels, and two granddaughters, Jessalyn Gomez and Jenessa Loya.
Jose Manuel Rodriguez received his theology degree at the University of Montemorelos in Mexico and dedicated his remaining life of 17 years to serving God as a Pastor at the Seventh-Day Adventist Texico Conference. Pastor Manny, as he was known by many, reached countless lives and was a beacon of light to several congregations in the New Mexico and Texas Panhandle. He was a hard-working servant of God with a passion to win souls for Christ and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life was influenced by his words and actions. Guided by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Rodriguez leaves behind a legacy of redemption, salvation and a true dedication to completing the work of the Great Commission given to us by Jesus Christ.
Memorial Services for Pastor Jose Manuel Rodriguez will be held at Rio Grande Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church Gymnasium located at 5200 Iliff Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105 on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 2 pm.
Due to the State of New Mexico COVID-19 mandates the service is restricted to a limited number of people that can attend in person. The family of Pastor Rodriguez have arranged for all those to join them in a virtual gathering in his memory that will also be held live on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 2 pm Mountain Standard Time through the Rio Grande Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church Facebook Homepage.
