Joseph Martinez

Joseph (Joey) Martinez died peacefully in his mother's arms, Wednesday June 24th, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father Jose "Jeff" Maestas, his youngest brother Daniel Wayne Martinez, his grandmothers (Maternal)- Antonina Martinez and (Paternal)- Alicia Maestas, his beloved Great Aunt and uncle From Denver, Colorado Emily and Gene Thompson.

He is survived by his mother Isabelle P. Martinez, brother David B.Martinez, His sister Darlene Martinez Heart from Albuquerque, his aunts Maryalice Peralta from pueblo, Colorado, Nancy Cruz, Stella Martinez, Ruby Love & Louisa Maestas and uncles Eldie Cruz and Gabriel Maestas (Jaylyn) all from Wagon Mound New Mexico. Nieces Renee (Lance), Savannah (Brecken) Haverlock Hunkle, nephews Jonathan Martinez, Daniel Romero Martinez and Christian Haverlock (Nancy), several great nieces and nephews and cousins, his best friends were John, yolanda and Joey Jones who were with him till the end.
