Josephine Margaret Diaz

Josephine Margaret Diaz, age 93, born in Los Angeles, California and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on June 10, 2026. Mrs. Diaz is survived by her daughter, Anna Vejar; granddaughter, Simone Diaz; great-grandson, Alejandro Diaz; great-great grandson, Keanu Vigil; siblings, Mary Ruiz, Dolores Hernandez, Roy Romero, Martin Romero, Alice Martel, Carmen Serrano, Rose Marie Chavez; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Diaz; daughter, Nellie Diaz; granddaughter, Sarah Diaz. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary will be recited at 7: 00 p.m. at The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. A Final Visitation will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at St. Josephs on the Rio Grande Catholic Church 5901 St. Joseph’s Dr. NW with burial to follow services at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery 2957 Arenal Rd SW.
