Kirsti Lynn Aragon

d. July 25, 2025

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Kirsti Lynn Aragon, age 37, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her loving family beside her on July 25, 2025. Kirsti is survived by her husband, Jonathan; children, Janessa Perea, Jonah Perales, Mia Sanchez and Fernando Padilla Jr.; her parents Al and Katie Perales. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, who left this world after a courageous battle with cancer. Kirsti was a devoted and loving mother of four, whose life revolved around her children and their happiness. Kirsti was the heart of her family—always putting her children first, creating joy in every little moment, and cherishing the laughter and memories they shared. Kirsti was proud to be a stay-at-home mom, and there was nothing Kirsti wouldn’t do for her kids. Whether it was planning fun trips, blasting music at home, or spending quiet time coloring with them, Kirsti made sure her children always felt loved, safe, and inspired. Kirsti was a cherished daughter to her mother and father, bringing light and love into their lives and always remaining a strong and steady presence. Outgoing and full of life, Kirsti found peace and happiness in the simple joys—fishing, camping, listening to music, and talking with friends. Kirsti was the kind of person who could walk into any room and light it up with her warmth and infectious smile. Kirsti often referred to herself as a “ray of sunshine,” and those who knew her would say that couldn’t be truer. Kirsti had a giving heart. She went out of her way to support and uplift others, often putting their needs ahead of her own. If someone was struggling, Kirsti was the first to drop everything to be there, never asking for anything in return. Her compassion was unmatched. Kirsti was a hard worker, strong-willed and independent. Kirsti carried herself with strength and determination in every season of her life. But everything changed when she met her husband, Jonathan. Together, they became a true team, a loving partnership that brought even more strength, laughter, and love to their home. Kirsti showed Jonathan a kind of love that’s rare—powerful, patient, and full of light. Kirsti challenged him to be better, to climb higher, and to never settle. With her by his side, he learned what unconditional love and true partnership really meant. Kirsti lived her life with purpose, grace, and a fierce dedication to those Kirsti loved. Her legacy lives on through her children, the many lives Kirsti touched, and the memories she created along the way. Kirsti will be remembered as a shining light, a nurturing mother, a devoted wife, and a loyal friend. Kirsti was truly one of a kind—and though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful to have known such a beautiful soul. A Visitation will be held on Friday August 8, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121.
