Laura Claudia Lucero

Laura Claudia Lucero, age 92, born in Pena Blanca, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 10, 2023. Mrs. Lucero is survived by her children, Robert Lucero and wife, Dolores, David Lucero, Christine Cave and husband, Jim, Ted Lucero and wife, Ruth, Joe P. Lucero and wife, Sylvia; twenty grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lucero, and sons Danny Lucero and Gilbert Lucero. Laura loved to dance, loved Betty Boop and made the most delicious tortillas., She was dearly loved by all her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 7:45 a.m. at St. Joseph On the Rio Grande Catholic Church 5901 St Joseph ‘s Dr. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on 9:00a.m. Interment is scheduled for Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 1:30p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Robert Lucero.
