Leroy Gregory Sanchez

Leroy Gregory Sanchez, born in September of 1982 with his life ending tragically and cut short of his 44th birthday. He was a loved and adored son to Susie Sanchez, born to Angela Sanchez; a brother to his two sisters, Ashley Ortiz and Angelica Martinez; one nephew; two uncles and three aunties; father to his son, Estevan Sanchez; many cousins and extended family members who cared deeply for him. Leroy will always be remembered for his endless humor and dance moves, his contagious laugh and unforgettable smile. That was his way of keeping us all on our toes and bringing life wherever he went; and of course, his fascinating stories that were full of energy. He was truly one of the friendliest people you could ever meet and had such a huge heart. From his daily house visits and showing up to every family gathering, to concerts, family Vegas trips, car rides and our time at the casino, Leroy was simply always around. For those who knew and loved him, he was an intricate part of our everyday lives. His life had its struggles, as all our lives do, but those struggles never defined the person he was or the love we had for him. We will greatly miss his voice, his stories, his humor and laughter, but most of all his everyday presence in our lives. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday August 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church 8301 Camino San Martin Rd. SW with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow the services at Sunset Memorial Cemetery 924 Menaul Blvd NE.

Rest in heavenly peace, Leroy. You will forever be remembered, deeply missed and always loved. You will remain in our hearts forever.
