Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Lillie Martinez passed away at the age of 95, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family.
Lillie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred Martinez; her cherished daughter, Angie; her sister, Louisa; her brothers, Henry, Frank, Tony, Martin, and Toby; and her parents, Frank and Petrita. Though she experienced great loss in her lifetime, she carried herself with quiet resilience and unwavering love for those around her.
She is survived by her children: Barbara Martinez and her husband Ruben; Alfred Martinez Jr. and his wife Janis; Terry Trujillo and her husband Tony; Connie Chavez and her husband Tim; and Vince Martinez, her sister Julia Sandoval, and brother Avenico Montoya. She is also lovingly remembered by her son-in-law, Robert Garcia.
Lillie was the proud matriarch of a large and loving family. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and togetherness, and her family was the center of her world.
