Marcus David Placencia

Marcus David Placencia, age 41, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on December 23, 2023. Marcus is survived by his two children, Alicia Marie Placencia and partner, Joseph Moss, and Isaac Marcus Placencia; mother, Margaret Jaramillo Griffin and husband, Richard Griffin, father, Tomas David Placencia; Marcus's loving partner, Mikaela Medina and her children Dinay Medina and Analisya Pacheco; siblings, Thomas Michael Griffin and partner Brigid Walker, Natalie Griffin Keffer and husband Brett, Richard N. Griffin and wife, Jessie, Nicole Griffin Anderson and husband, David; grandparents, Virginia Gonzales Placencia, Carolina Chavez Jaramillo and Audrey Roberts Griffin; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded by his grandparents, Tomas Placencia, Edumenio “Eddy” Jaramillo and Thomas A. Griffin; Godmother Mary J. Baca; the children’s mother, Jennifer Marie Lord; uncles, Joseph C. Placencia and John “Jay” Edward Genero; and niece, Charlee Anderson. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 7, 2023 at 2:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00pm by Pat Muniz Roberts. A Final Visitation will be held Monday, January 8, 2023 at 8:30am at Holy Family Catholic Church, with a Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 9:00am. Interment will follow the services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be, Graham Elliott, Billy Falkenthal, Andrew Placencia, Dominick Garcia, Cameron Sena and Michael Dillander. Honorary Pallbearers, Josh Perez, Johnathan Barela, Mario Jaramillo, Mathew Mares, Marty Smith, Mark Dubois, Joseph Moss and Timothy Saunders.
