Margaret Velasquez (Trujillo), age 90, born in Springer, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on April 2, 2024. Mrs. Velasquez is survived by her children, Tony Velasquez and wife, Theresa, Dolores Velasquez, Christine Juarez, Yvonne Cordova and husband, John; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; sisters, Viola Trujillo, Lucy Trujillo; brother, Ricky Sandoval. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Velasquez; daughter, Esther Lucero; son, Joe Velasquez; grandson, Joe Velasquez; granddaughter, Michelle Velasquez; son in-law, Ernesto Lucero. A visitation will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 7:45 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited by the family at 8:15 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. and Interment will follow the services at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery 700 Yale Blvd SE. Pallbearers will be, Pete Juarez, John Joseph Velasquez, Reynaldo Dominguez, Ernest Lucero, AJ Castro, and David Saenz, Robert Castro, Dominic Juarez, and Josh Hernandez.
