Mary Jane Padilla

Mary Jane Padilla, age 81, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 27, 2026. Mrs. Padilla is survived by her son, Phil Martinez; siblings, Marie Concha Aragon, and Ricky Martinez; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Padilla and brother, Jose Leroy Martinez. She worked as a teacher where she taught in New Mexico and retired from Albuquerque Public Schools. She was a devout Catholic and a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW where her services will be held. Burial will take place after services at Los Padillas Cemetery, 2818 Los Padillas Rd SW where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Eugene. Services for Mrs. Padilla are pending.
