Mary Jane Padilla

Mary Jane Padilla, age 81, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 27, 2026. Mrs. Padilla is survived by her siblings, Phil Martinez,  Marie Concha Aragon, and Ricky Martinez; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Padilla and brother, Jose Leroy Martinez. She worked as a teacher where she taught in New Mexico and retired from Albuquerque Public Schools. She was a devout Catholic and a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW where a Rosary will be recited at 10:15am on Monday, June 15th, 2026, with the Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at 11:00am, and the Burial to follow the Mass at Los Padillas Cemetery, 2818 Los Padillas Rd SW where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Eugene.
