Michael Joseph Otero

Michael Joseph Otero, age 69, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on December 7, 2025. Michael is survived by his beloved children, son Michael Jason Otero and wife, Jennifer; and daughter, Krista Otero; siblings, sister, Jackie Otero-Garza and brother, Daniel Otero; grandchildren, Maryah Marin, Shaun Anaya Jr., Matthew Silva, Sophia Silva, Alyvia Otero and Jocelyn Otero; mother of his children, Carol Maynez Medina; Goddaughter, Desiree Maynez; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lora Otero; and brother, David Otero Jr. Visitation for Michael will be held in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited by Patricia Muniz- Roberts at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church 8301 Camino San Martin S.W. on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow the services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd. NE
