Miramon S. Sanchez, age 87, born & raised in the Los Padillas Community of Albuquerque, New Mexico and member of the South Valley Catholic Church of Ascension was called home to heaven on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Sarah J. Sanchez; his daughters, Louisa Sanchez (Trujillo) & husband, Tony Trujillo, and Evelyn Sanchez; his grandchildren Michelle, Ropey, Renee, Tony, and Frankie; and many great and great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his Brothers Robert "Billy", Antonio, and Gilbert; his Sisters Catalina, Anita, Ersalla, Adella, Irene, & Merlinda; and many many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends of the extended Sanchez Family.

He is preceded in the afterlife by his parents, Abelino & Felacita Sanchez; his brothers Crespin, Herman, and Junior Sanchez; his son, Frank Sanchez; his grandson, Rudy Mendoza; his grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Miramon Sanchez embodied the very best qualities not only of a man, but of a true family man - practicing patience, providing and protecting with purpose, leading through hard work and, most importantly, living with faith. His love, compassion, and kindness will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

A Visitation for Mr. Sanchez will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. all to take place in The Gabaldon Memorial chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121. A Final Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Ascension Catholic Church 2150 Raymac Rd. SW. A Burial will follow services to Los Padillas Cemetery.

Pallbearers for Miramon will be Ropey Trujillo, Frank Barragan, Isaiah Garcia, David Sanchez, Jose Padilla, George Bustamante. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons Ruben, Elijah, Matthew, Joseph, Xavier, Josiah.
