Pablo R. Garcia, age 83, born in La Joya, New Mexico, and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side, daughter, Geraldine, granddaughter, Jessica Blea and grandson, Steven Blea on Thursday, July 7, 2026. Pablo was a loving husband to his late wife, Julie Garcia. He was a cherished grandfather, brother, uncle. cousin and dear friend to many. Pablo lived a life filled with love, laughter and kindness. He was known for his gentle demeanor and unwavering generosity. In his free time, Pablo enjoyed playing baseball as a pitcher for the Momma’s and Papa’s team and watching his favorite teams, the New York Yankee’s and the Denver Broncos. He loved going to church every Sunday, he loved the casino, cleaning his yard, gardening and his dogs. Pablo is survived by and will be dearly missed by his children, Geraldine Pablo and Paul Garcia; brother, Jose Garcia (Martha); sisters, Yolanda Carrillo (Chris), Grace Gonzales (Tonie), Nancy Ortiz (Charlie); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He touched the lives of many and will be remembered fondly for his kindness and gentle spirit. Pablo served his country proudly in the United States Army. The services for Pablo will be held at Church of the Ascension 2150 Raymac Rd. SW with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Date and times for the services are pending.
