“Coach”

Randy Damian Gutierrez, age 51, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 26, 2023. He loved his family, working with kids, and all sports.  He remembered more facts and trivia about sports than remembering birthdays.  Randy’s journey through life allowed him to meet and help his students in many ways.  He loved fishing, camping and golf.  He ran many marathons before his knees finally couldn’t do it any more. 

Randy is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Debbie; children, Daniel Sedillo and wife, Andrea, Laureen Sedillo and husband, Alex, Marcus Sedillo; grandchildren, Sophia Sedillo and Dani Sedillo; parents, Johnny Rey, and Beatrice Gutierrez; sisters, Pammy Castillo, and Cathie Gutierrez; nephew, Aaron Castillo; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Leo, and Bertha Garcia. A Memorial Service will be held in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
