Richard Mares

Richard Michael Mares, age 69, born in Flagstaff, Arizona and a resident of Pena Blanca, New Mexico, passed away on September 4, 2025. Richard is survived by his children, Alana Mares, Holly Mares and Sam Mares; siblings, Moe Mares and Gilbert Mares; special cousin, Jeanie Ortiz; best pet friend, Mocha; mother in-law, Toni Arquero; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Mares; brother, Dennis; sister, Cynthia Mares and parents, Richard and Josie Mares. Services will be held on Saturday, September 20,2025 at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pena Blanca, New Mexico.
