Robert "Bucky" Buckner

Robert “Bucky” Buckner, age 59, born in Los Angeles, California and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on December 12, 2024. Robert is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Lori Buckner; children, Crystal Stafford and husband, Jeremy, Tiffany Rollins and husband, Josh, Erika Montoya and husband, Brandon, and Kimberly Buckner and boyfriend, Seth Mitchell; his mother, Patricia Saavedra Vigil and husband Dwight Simmons; four grandchildren; brother, Jay Lovato and wife, Kat; nephews, Tre Lovato, and Trent Laswell; father in-law Bill Laswell; mother in-law Betty Jennings and husband, Boyd; brother in-law CW Laswell and wife, Janet. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Lovato, and father, Rudy Saavedra. He was a four-year member of the New Mexico State Guard, a dedicated volunteer with the Bernalillo County Fire Department and an avid softball player for over thirty years. He will be dearly missed. Services for Mr. Buckner are pending.
