Robert Chavez

Robert R. Chavez, age 69, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  Mr. Chavez is survived by his son, Robert D. Chavez; daughter, Lisa Gerlando and husband, Mike; sisters, Mela Barela and husband, Eddie, and Gloria Herrera; brother, Moises Chavez; grandchildren, Christopher Chavez, Michael Aragon, Audrina Aragon, Rosemarie Gerlando and Samantha Gerlando as well as many other extended family members.   Mr. Chavez was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Stella.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 form 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Dr. NW with a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.   A Committal service will follow services at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 a.m.
