Robert George Savage

Robert George Savage, age 63, born in Kansas City, Missouri and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on August 1, 2025 and is now with his heavenly Father and savior Jesus Christ. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Myrna Solano Savage; children Brenda, Robert, and David Savage (Rosie); siblings Lori Salim, and David Savage; nephews and nieces, Nasser Salim (Deszarae), Leila Salim, Valerie Salim-Meza (Jamie), James Meza, and Nadia Meza; mother-in-law Eva Betanzos; sisters-in-law Patricia Totaro (Franco), Maru Solano, Nancy Solano, Veronica Solano, Lilia Fabiola Solis Solano; many nieces and nephews, including Alba Castillo Solano (Ruben), Nany Cruz Solano, and Mateo Gamez; many extended family members; and beloved cat Bella. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Dave Savage and Josie Brown Savage.

A master mechanic and skilled tradesman, Robert was admired for his craftsmanship and dedication to his work. He was a lifelong motorsports enthusiast and a proud Kansas City Chiefs fan— always full of energy, ready with a silly dance, and never without a playful glimmer in his eye. Robert had a sweet-tooth, which is probably why he married a dentist, Myrna, the love of his life! Cereal, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate ice cream were among his favorite treats.

Robert will be remembered not only for his deep devotion to his family and many incredible talents, but also the joy he brought to those around him. He loved traveling with his family and especially enjoyed visiting Pagosa Springs, CO, and Guadalajara, Mexico — his favorite city and dream retirement destination.

We will deeply miss our dear Robert. He was a loving husband, exceptional father, and amazing brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. We thank you for your prayers during this time of immeasurable loss.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Casa del Rey Church 2500 Corona Dr NW. Pastor Rafael Padilla and Ruben A. Guajardo lll will preside. A reception will follow at Casa del Rey Church.
