Roberto Ulibarri

d. March 5, 2021

We lost our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother on March 5, 2021. Roberto, or “Bobby” as many of us knew him was born on June 6, 1937 in Soccoro, New Mexico to Bonifacio and Dominica (Garcia) Ulibarri. Bobby is survived by the love of his life and wife of fifty-seven years, Gloria Ulibarri; sons, Robert Ulibarri Jr. and Phillip Ulibarri; grandchildren, Timothy and Matthew Ulibarri, Josie Black and David Gonzalez; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Viola Ulibarri, Andrea and Tommy Higgins, Irene and Ken Mink; brothers, Bonifacio Jr. and Rachel Ulibarri, Orlando and Linda Ulibarri,; in-laws, David Villanueva and wife, Eleanor, Joan Beltran and husband, Tony, Feliz Baldonado, John Flores, Martha Muller and husband, Ed, Jeanette Benavidez and husband, Randy; also Gloria (x Ulibarri); many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonifacio and Dominica Ulibarri; sisters Eleanor Flores, Herlinda Chavez, and Rosella Mora. Mr. Ulibarri proudly served his country in the United States, Marines, Air Force, Army, Army Reserves and New Mexico Army National Guard. He was a great role model and mentor to his family and lovingly did many acts of kindness without ever boasting. He enjoyed getting together with family and friends, cooking alongside Gloria. He made the best tortillas and the best beans and chile. He also coached his son’s little league baseball teams in earlier years. Bobby and Gloria enjoyed traveling with the family on road trips to their favorite vacation spots. You are now free from earthly pain, suffering and worries of this world. Rest in peace Roberto.
