Roger Anastacio Velarde O.F.S, age 80, born in Embudo, New Mexico, passed away August 19, 2023. Roger is survived by his wife of Thirty years, Ramona Velarde; son, Roger Arturo Velarde; daughters, Rosie Wilson, and Sarah Simpkins; along with many loving family members and friends. A Visitation for Roger will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, at 5:30pm in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW 87121. A Vigil Service will follow visitation at 6:00pm.
