Roy Felix Cotinola, age 73, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on June 27, 2023. Roy is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Olivia Cotinola; daughter, Stephanie Cotinola and husband, Greg Romero; son, Chris Cotinola and daughter, Angela Cotinola and husband, Erik Rangel; grandchildren, Klarissa, Antonio, Noah and Christian; brother, Ray Cotinola and wife, Teresa; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Nestora Cotinola; grandmother, Barbarita Gabaldon; and several family members. Mr. Cotinola honored his country proudly in the United States Army where he served in the 101st Airborne unit during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Catholic Church, ACTS religious community, was an avid sports fan and loved fishing. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 9:45am with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15am with a Mass to follow at 11:00am all to be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church on 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with burial to follow with military honors at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE.
