Ruben Chavez, age 83, born in Leyba, New Mexico, and resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday January 4, 2018. Mr. Chavez is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy; son, Anthony Chavez and wife, Yolanda; daughter, Annette Chavez; sisters, Viola, Carmen and husband, Jim, and Vangie; brothers, Frank, Dan, Fred and Ralph and wife, Cruzita; grandchildren, Therese, Carlos, Nicholas and Olivia; and great-grandson, Joshua. Mr. Chavez was preceded in death by his son, Ruben Jr. and sister, Mabel Canaday.
