Ruben Salazar

Ruben M. Salazar, age 42, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on July 7, 2023. Ruben is survived by his mother, Germaine Sanchez and husband, Gene; grandmothers, Isabel (Tita) Garcia, and Sarah Sanchez; aunt, Louise Archuleta and husband, Roger; uncle, Benny Garcia and wife, Frances; nephew, Christopher Elliott and his father, Patrick Elliott; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ruben was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Salazar; sister, Nicole Salazar; grandfather, Ben (Papo) Garcia. Visitation will be held at St. Anne Catholic 1400 Arenal Rd SW. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 7:45 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
