Sally Tapia Acosta, age 83, born in Chilili, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed on June 29, 2023. Sally is survived by her children, Debbie Tapia Salas, and husband Gilbert, Elaine Benavidez, and husband Robert; grandchildren, Nichole Stephens and husband John, Robert Benavidez and companion Niki, Desiree Salas, Vanessa Tapia, Veronica Tapia; great-grandchildren, Adam Lopez, Gwen Benavidez, Aliyah Salas, and Ethan Stephens; siblings, Justo Tapia, Rita Tapia Montoya, and Lugie Gallegos and husband Henry. Sally is preceded in death by her son, Richard Tapia; parents, Demetrio and Sesaria; siblings, Maryann Chavez, Erminda Tapia, and Tommy Tapia. Service date and times for Sally are still pending.
