Simona Cordova

Simona Cordova, age 88, born in Hurley, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side, on July 25, 2025. Mrs. Cordova is survived by her children, Randy Cordova and wife, Leila, Joe Cordova, Veronica Cordova and fiancé, Louie Serna, and James Cordova and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Jennifer, Phil Jr., Jacqueline, Cynthia, Vincent, Randy Jr., Diego, Katherine, Madeline, Lily, Jerome, Alexander, Fabian, Desiree, and James; great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Mel, Luis Diego, Andres, Ignacio, Myriah, Phil lll, Lily, Mia, Eli, Julia, Ezekiel, Sebastian, Devon, Brielle, Giana, Zya, and Jaxon; siblings, Marylou Sainz, Louie Sainz, Linda Sainz, Mary Sainz, Edward Sainz and Bobby Sainz; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Cordova, son Phillip Cordova, daughter, Teresa Cordova and several siblings. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Final visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church 1400 Arenal Rd. SW with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadalupe St. in Santa Fe, New Mexico where Simona will be laid to rest with her husband, Alonzo Cordova. Pallbearers will be Randy Cordova Jr. Diego Cordova, Phil Cordova Jr., Vincent Cordova, Jerome Cordova, Alexander Cordova, Fabian Cordova, and James Cordova.
