Teresita "Terry" Luna

Teresita “Terry” (Bachicha) Luna age 88, born in Encino, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away with her daughters by her side on November 4, 2020.  Mrs. Luna is survived by her children, Emiliana Dolores Lucero (Robert), Martha Valdez (Felipe), Pearl Louise Luna, Geri Ann Jenks (Steve); grandchildren, Francesca, Micheline, Jocelyn, Camille, Adam, Antoinette, Jude Luna, Morgan, Matthew; four great-grandchildren, Donovan, Chayson, Jesse, Estella and one great-great grandchild, Benjamin; Siblings, Alfredo Bachicha Jr., Tommy Bachicha, Maria Zumbrun; brother in-law, Ernest Luna (Erlinda); sisters in-law, Amy Luna Lucero and Viola Luna Vigil; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friendsMrs. Luna served her Catholic Community faithfully, through the numerous ministries she was involved in. She was a Eucharistic Minister, The Legion of Mary, RCIA, Consolation Ministry, and the Legion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was a devout member of Santuario de San Martin de Porres Mission and Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Mrs. Luna was preceded in death by her husband, Vidal Luna; parents, Mary and Alfredo Bachicha, Francisquita and Jose Leon Chavez; siblings, Zenaida Bachicha, Joe L. Chavez, Josie Gallegos, Margie Ortega, James Bachicha, Richard Bachicha, Gloria Ortega, Connie Sisneros; along with several of the Luna family whom she love dearly. The family would like to acknowledge and thank her caregivers Anabel Ramos and Diane Romero.  A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on November 16, 2020 at Santuario San Martin 8301 Camino San Martin SW.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. following the Rosary. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE.
