Victor Hugo Carrete, de 61 años, nacido en Parral, Chihuahua, México y residente de Albuquerque , Nuevo Mexico, falleció tranquilamente rodeado de familia y amigos el 26 de Marzo de 2023. Victor fue un esposo amoroso, un gran padre para sus hijos y un abuelo extraordinario. Tenía una sonrisa que aluzaba cualquier lugar y una carcajada inigualable. Le sobreviven su esposa, de treinta y nueve años de casados, Martha López, sus hijos, Alejandra Cordova y su esposo Jesse Cordova, Victor Hugo Jr. Carrete y su prometida Destinee Sanchez, y Yarely Carrete y su novio Brayan Marquez; sus nietos Jazmine, Santiago, Jazzelle, Alex, Arielle, y una en camino; su hermano Francisco Rodolfo Carrete Urbina; Suegro Severo López y varios cuñados, cuñadas y sobrinos . Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Rodolfo Carrete Arzola y Carlota Carrete Urbina. El velorio se realizara a las 4:00pm el Jueves, 13 de Abril de 2023 en la Capilla de Gabaldon Memorial, localizada en el 1000 Old Coors Dr. S.W. La Misa de Resurrección se llevara a cabo el Viernes 13 de Abril de 2023 a las 10:30 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica San José localizada en la 2401 Broadway Blvd SE. Entierro para seguir los servicios en el Cementerio Sunset Memorial Park localizado en el 924 Menaul NE. Los Portadores de feretro serán, Victor Carrete Jr., Jesse Cordova, Brayan Marquez, Francisco Lopez, Jose Lopez, Lorenzo Lopez, Hugo Levario, Efrain Machado, Juan Andrade, and Pablo Sotelo.

Victor Hugo Carrete, age 61, born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family and friends on March 26, 2023. Victor was a loving husband, a great father to his children, and an extraordinary grandpa. He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh like no other. Victor is survived by his wife, of thirty-nine years, Martha Lopez; children Alejandra Cordova and husband Jesse, Victor Hugo Jr. and fiancée Destinee Sanchez, and Yarely Carrete and boyfriend Brayan Marquez; grandchildren Jazmine, Santiago, Jazzelle, Alex, Arielle, plus another one on the way; brother Francisco Rodolfo Carrete Urbina; several loving in-laws and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo and Carlota Carrete Arzola. Visitation will be held at 4: 00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel at 1000 Old Coors Dr. S.W. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, April 13,2023, at 10:30 a.m. in the San Jose Catholic Church at 2401 Broadway Blvd SE. Burial to follow the services at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery at 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Victor Carrete Jr., Jesse Cordova, Brayan Marquez, Francisco Lopez, Jose Lopez, Lorenzo Lopez, Hugo Levario, Efrain Machado, Juan Andrade, and Pablo Sotelo.
