Alex Romero Jr.

Alex Romero Jr., age 74, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 18, 2020.  Mr. Romero is survived by his beloved wife, Louisa Romero; children, Lisa Romero and fiancé, Joe Lucero, Alex Chris Romero and Joaquin Sandoval; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Mr. Romero was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Gonzales and grandson, Harvey Aragon.

Pallbearers will be Sam Trujillo, Christian Trujillo, Emanuel Aragon, Alejandro Aragon and Levi Cohn.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW.  Interment will take place Friday, May 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Gabaldon Mortuary and staff will be adhering to the mandated CDC guidelines of no more than five people gathered at a time.   Guest are asked to remain in the parking lot until a director leads you into the building, five people at a time.

PLEASE TAKE PROPER PRECAUTIONS WHEN CHOOSING TO ATTEND ANY SERVICES. If you are sick in any way please avoid attending any social gatherings.  Please wash hands thoroughly and avoid contact via hand shaking and hugging when possible.
