Alfredo Herrera

Alfredo Herrera, age 94, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on March 16, 2021. Mr. Herrera is survived by his children, Joe Herrera and wife, Agnes, Judy Montoya, and Lorraine Herrera; ten grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, six, great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Herrera was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth and son, Alex Herrera. Mr. Herrera proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He loved fishing and hunting with his family and going on walks in nature. Every year, he would walk the pilgrimage through Santuario De Chimayo. He was a jokester, and always had a smile. A Rosary will be on March 23, 2021 at St. Edwin Catholic Church located at 2105 Barcelona Rd. Sw 87105 at 9:00am, and a Mass at 10:00am. A Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo, 2957 Arenal Rd Sw 87121.
