Isabel Chavez

Isabel Varela Chavez, age 76, born in Magdalena, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on April 6, 2022. Isabel is survived by her husband of ten years, Jorge Varela; children, Sammy Chavez and wife, Lisa, and Frank Chavez and wife, Lariann; eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Chris Peralta. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dolores Chavez, son Joe Chavez and grandson, Timothy Chavez. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 1:00p.m. also in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at The Magdalena Community Cemetery in Magdalena, New Mexico.
