Leo F. Vigil, age 79, born in Tucumcari, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on February 13, 2021. Mr. Vigil is survived by his wife of sixty years, Dixie Vigil; children, Frank N. Vigil and fiancée, Maria Schneider, Cynthia Louise Aragon and husband, Leo Aragon, Matthew N. Vigil and partner, Jessica Schneider; two grandchildren,Nakisha M. Aragon and fiancée, Dallas Dubriel, Matthew A. Vigil; many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Vigil was preceded in death by his grandson, Nicholas L. Aragon. Mr. Vigil was retired from the military and served his country proudly. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Cathedral 1001 Barelas Rd S.W. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow Mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd. NE
