Millie Lucero passed way peacefully on February 18, 2021. She was preceded by death by her father Celestino Martinez and Manuelita Chavez. Also preceded in death by her sisters , Dora Baldonado, Filomena Chavez, Adelaida Saiz, , brothers Max Martinez and Andres Martinez and recently two nephews Andy Martinez and Robert Baldonado. And casino buddy sonin Law Steve Herrera. Millie is survived by her children Gloria Baca, Carl Lucero, Helen Ferguson, Anthony Lucero, Patricia Herrera and Loretta Romero (Mark). She is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Millie was a woman of faith and taught her children always that God came first and to always pray to the Blessed Mother. She sacrificed so much so that her children could all have a Catholic education. She spent most of her career as the Bernalillo county Voter Registration Supervisor. In which she would attend daily mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church prior to beginning her work day. After retiring she loved going to the casino. A mass in her memory will be said in the Spring of this year.
