Santiago Funes

Santiago Funes, age 66, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 24, 2021.  Santiago is survived by his siblings, Felix Funes and wife, Patsy, Michelle Gallegos and husband, Raymond, Mary Ann Baca, Julia Garcia and husband, Sam, Theresa Gomez and husband, Ernie, Clara Dixon and husband, Jim. Alice Sena and husband, Joe, Raymond Funes and fiancée, Rose, Angel Franco and husband, Louie, Eva Clark and husband, Mark, Monica Salazar and husband, Alex, Crystal Velasquez and husband, Arlie; sister in-law, Alma Funes; many beloved Aunties from Texas, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, cousins in Texas and San Francisco, GTO, Mexico; numerous friends and extended family. Mr. Funes was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria Funes; brother, Jose Tony Funes; nephews, Simon Garcia, and Mike Gomez. The Visitation for Santiago will be April 5, 2021 at 6:30pm at Church of the Incarnation Catholic Church, located at 2309 Monterrey Rd NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:30pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00am on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 309 Stover Ave SW 87102 with a Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
